About the Tao Te Ching
About 2,600 years ago, Lao Tsu, wrote this book. The world of ancient China
and our world today are very different. You may wonder what words written
centuries ago have to do with our situation. Today we stand on the brink of
creating such radical climate change that civilization, as we know it, may
not survive. Or we can start tossing nuclear weapons at each other and end up
with a completely barren planet, incapable of creating life. We need help. I
feel there is a commonality of the spiritual experience that transcends any
specific culture or period of history, and right now we need all the wisdom
we can get. This book may just hold the answer.
